phew.. at last an off day today.. haha.
ok i noe i had not been updating my blog regularly. *sry* hah.. cos had been quite 'busy' haha.
yesterday just had my 1st 2 lessons on driving. n i had the worst experience with 1 bloody damn f***ing comfort taxi uncle. purposely drove damn slowly in front of me in a one way lane. if i'm not having a lesson most probably he's gonna be whacked by me. that asshole.

anyway i'm gonna have my another 2 lessons later. haha. hope i can stop having those 'psycho-motor' problems with the pedals, gears n steering wheel.

been tryin to wrk on my fitness bit by bit for like 2 weeks already.. hope to see the results long term ba.. my leg's recovery shd be going on fine.. *i hope* kinda stop goin for physio recently due to wrk.

hahas. its been a long day n a long time since i last blogged, but i guess its worthwhile ba.

lol. today's gonna be quite a short update, cos goin to slp later nid to gif shir her morning call..
many things happened within these few weeks, esp today.

important day for me. n for her.. =D
all i would reveal nw is that i'm contented with life as it is now,
glad that i'm having what i have nw. hahas..
maybe u guys wun understand what i mean. but those who gt chat with me these few days shd understand.

i'm just very happy. period.

btw today met up with my poly mates, weilun, jie xiu, yong yik, chow ken, kenneth, gc, jason, Jman, jiahao. haha.. quite a good meet up session, n i believe nxt week there will be 1 more. nice seeing ya guys today. cos its like 2 years(NS n we nv met each other till ORD)

confessed the 2nd time, although i'm nt good with my words i still managed to persuade my way thru to convincing her haha.. therefore i'm glad that things worked out.

saw shu heng while on the way home. haha. my bmt buddy, chatted for awhile, b4 heading home.

had been enjoying myself for the past 2 days haha.. yesterday went out with the guys for bball in the afternoon. me, rs, gab, yh, n wy @ the usual CC court.. haha..

i'm glad that i am able to run abit now, and also abit of my jumping is back too. =D confident that i'd make it to the treadmill by nxt physio. however as wad RS n the rest says, betta dun test my luck haha.. but rest assured i will not rush my way back into sports. when i feel that my legs wun be able to tk it anymore i will fall out myself. haha.. so dun worry. i noe u guys r worried that my legs might get injured again.

after bball, we all headed home to bathe, n met up again at City hall to go eat at Shokudo. The way the food is served is similar to "Marches", just except that it's Jap style cuisine.. the food there was definitely good, jus that maybe the price is abit towards the higher end..

den after our meal had some jokes about some of the ppl we saw in Shokudo.. and when i was walking out of the restaurant, i accidentally knocked onto a girl, den that stupid wy, jus suddenly ran out of nowhere n said (quite loudly) "Hey!! She almost die ok!" den the gal turned over to look at us, but me n rs evaded n ran away. lol. damn pai seh ok..

den gab suggested mahjong @ his house with his dad. haha. so we headed over n had 2 rnds be4 wy KO-ed on his sofa n i played winning eleven on his psp when gab made a bet with me, to tell me to score with the goalkeeper (which i did) if i wanted to play with him.

lol.. went home on the 1st bus n KO-ed @ home till arnd afternoon. cos supposed to meet them 130am at Park Mall's fish n co @ 130pm. to have a b'day celebration for me n sharon. lol. kinda overslept but actually was able to make it in time. but had to tk a cab due to a stupid bus driver... lol. dun wanna complain too much cos today good mood haha...

met up with the peeps, n had our lunch @ Fish n co. haha.. gena sabo'ed by the guys.. ask me n sharon to stand on the chair n sang the b'day songs to both of us.. thx for the efforts guys. lol.. although abit paiseh but still thx. haha.. gt a timbuk2 bag frm the guys, and a reebok tee frm the gals.. =D

bee n jen met us @ PS and we headed to cine for a light dinner b4 goin to O2Max to play Wii.. lol. really enjoyed myself and really thx again to all of u guys for wishin n celebrating my b'day with me lol..

today went to marina sq to meet jen, bee, bel, n rs for dinner @ some steamboat thingy, quite a nice idea, with a free flow of chocolate fondue @ the end after 830pm. i find its quite ex, but the food is nt bad la actually. went for a game of bowling and stil bowled ok la. ended up in top score with just 105. btw saw my OC, S3, jing ming n leonard @ marina superbowl too.. wad a small world. haha.. stunned to see them there. but nvm la clearing leave liao. lol. RS lost abit of touch with his bowling today. but i guess its cos too long nv play lar.. haha.. dun worry la bro. u jus nid some time to get used to it again. =D

rs's sch stuff seems quite tough to handle. and he seems stressed. hah. btw dun worry, i believe u can do it man. and if u really wanna tok anytime u can tok to us la haha. jus wrk hard but rmb to relax @ times. worrying too much wun help also. and nver give up no matter hw hard things get.

lol. as the date nears, seriously one can only get more worried of what's coming up next.. haha. i'm tokin bout ORDing. alot of doubts about the future n wad's gonna happen next. i guess its time to start planning nw. although it shd be done way be4. its nt too late nw oso ba..

recently really had been thinkin of wad i'm gonna do in the future, and really goin into deep consideration. i really wonder wad kinda job will suit me as i'm really not the time who likes to do 8-5 office jobs. nor those kind who likes routine stuff.. so been rather confused..

nonetheless, i guess these 2 mths after i ORD, i will most probably get some job outside 1st, to really see wad kinda job suits me more as well as to get some wrkin experience. sad to say i'm quite pampered for the 1st 20+ years of my life (now too) and did nt have much workin experience.

many things to wrk hard for this upcoming months, i would really like to get back my fitness level to at least half of SSC standard, i noe it will be hard. but i will try my best.

2ndly kicking off some bad habits, slping late, playing excessive games, as well as 'lobo-ing' arnd too much. hmmm all these stuff really nid alot of discipline to control. but lets state this out as a headstart 1st. haha...

tmr goin camp for my medical FFI, hope everything goes well.
another 17 days to get my pink ic. abit more den 2 weeks. but i duno why i'm nt feelin that kinda excitement like i used to when i was still a trainee then lookin forward to my ORD date... lol..

woah. its been so long since i exercised and yesterday went to play abit of tennis with gab, wy, n tommy @ yh's place. haha.. dunno hw to play so about 1/2 of the time were used to pick the stupid balls... but it was fun lar.. wanna learn it. nw my butt, thigh, calfs ache. haha..

and yesterday was my dad's b'day.. so bought a mango moouse cake from new york new york. too sweet for my liking, but i'm glad my dad liked it haha.. ok la. i guess that had made his day. =D so felt kinda good about it.. 1st time i feel like i'm a good boy LOL! but is oso thnx to my bro for remindin me that lol. otherwise i would nt have gotten the cake.

happy that everything in my life is goin on smoothly. leg also recovering properly (i guess) and NS is coming to and end soon. marks an end to a phase of my life, and also to a start of another phase.. i guess there will be more challenges up ahead. so lets hope life would still be rather smooth sailing.

Great. an update after so long rite? haha.. i apologise for nt updatin my blog regularly recently.. cos seriously there's nth much going on with my life during my 3mths @ home other den slp, wake up, play game, go vivo for dinner, den come home play game, slp, and the cycle goes on. haha..

goin back to camp tmr. after a long break of, totally dun have the mood @ all to go back. moreover being told that i nid to mount duty for 2 more duty cycles eventhough i jus came back from operation.

nvm.. anyway tmr shd be quite zhuo bo. goin back jus to settle my medical stuff as well as dental FFI. exactly 1 more mth to ORD! >.< cant wait.

Anyway as wad wy had said in his blog, i really think we nid a Vivo membership card or some loyalty card.. lol. been goin there fr like 3-4 times every week on average. lol.

hmm i guess life goes on. Fingers crossed. hope i dun nid to mount another 2 duty weeks. *cant be bothered if ppl think that i'm smoking out.* put urselves in my shoes if u all think this way, haha. goin to ORD. =D

however, had been thinkin quite abit and chattin with desmond that day during our ORD treat to the ssc batch 10, 12, 13 ppl.. actually we kinda feel ORD is overrated. haha. cos in the end of the day, wad we face is new challenges, and the unknown that lies ahead of us. but of course its a good thing la. Breakin free from the control of the SAF.

haha. happy that i just gotten my self "zeng-ed" desktop arnd 2-3 days ago.. went sim lim to get it. overall spent $1.9k to build the whole thing and the price includes 22" LG LCD monitor. kinda happy bout it cos its the 1st time i build my own comp and it seems to be quite good and also up to my expectations.

me n tommy did quite abit of research be4 gettin this comp. lol.. considering wad kind of ram, graphics card, LCD, motherboard etc etc.. haha..

hm.. have not been updating my blog recently. lol.. partially cos i'm gaming quite abit nw lol. sian really dun wanna get back to my old gaming habits but wth there's nth i can do @ home zzz mayb 1 of these days i shall jus go to the library to borrow some books to read.

anyway thx for every1 who have been concerned about the condition of my leg, well, i'm currently very well rested (dun worry i've been eating slping eating slping) sian. becoming fatter lol. but who cares. cant wait till it recover and i can be back to my normal routines le. thx for all the encouragement by every1 =D glad to have friends arnd when u nid them.

btw getting a new comp mid of this month (hopefully my dad sponsor's half) haha.. den my budget can shoot up abit more liao LOL. but nonetheless this computer i'm using nw almost CMI liao.. haha.. cant wait for IT show.

aha.. stayed up till the nxt morning on the 22nd may jus to watch that match man. really was a nice match. exciting all the way. bad luck for chelsea as well. too bad for them cos i guess the goalpost love them too much.. haha..

anyway jus went for my physiotherapy as well as removal of my stitches yesterday.. the wound wasnt totally closed up yet. sian. but the nurse use some kinda scotchtape thingy to tape up the wound. told me to remove it 5 days later. hopefully by then it close back liao.

LOL. dint expect physiotherapy to be so shag man. those simple movements enuff to tire me out man. i guess partly was cos of the champions league final ba.. haha.. slept @ 6+ den woke up 10am go for physio le.. ended up concuss @ home after that.

glad that my leg is slowly recovering le... but i tink i lost quite alot of muscle @ my thigh n calf area... my weight reduce le. but fats increase. zzz damn pissed. nvm i shall train it back to the original shape. still cant bend my leg more then 90 degrees. hah bt nvm. slowly i tink can le. and i gt 2 mths MC haha.. =X

haha.. jus finished my op yest, was glad that i am able to come home the same day despite reachin home @ 12 midnite.. but all these would nt be made possible without rs, yiming, and ck's help. haha.. especially the pants. =X couldnt come home without it sia.

Just went to watch Ironman with rs today. was quite impressed by the movie, in terms of the content, and story of hw the main char become ironman. cos for some1 like me, who nv read ironman comics or watch the cartoon be4, its quite interestin to get to noe the story behind it.

after such a long, long wait. my operation is here at last.. tmr will be the very day.. operation @ TTSH 12pm. feelin kinda worried.. but hope all goes well tmr! =D

YO! haha. super long nv blog liao. lol. i guess life recently had been kinda boring ba. and oso nth much had been happening so dint really update.

anyways today went to the gym with rs n jy, its been a long time since i exercise man. so its like all my fitness really had gone away. i tink its time to really consider getting some dumbells to put @ home so after my op i still can work on my upper body. recently really getting more n more unfit liao. sad.

today recieved news frm my PC sayin that my OC dun allow me to clear leave on my next duty week, so i still nid to mount another 4 days, from thurs to sun. stupid rite, really a waste of my time. wad's the difference with letting me to clear mon and tues, and nt letting me clear the rest of my leave when i'm already goin for my operation next week? ridiculous unit i must say. really wtf.

but i guess no one cares ba. they are already quite pissed that i am goin off so early liao, so every1 thinks that leave nt being able to clear finish is no issue de. wtf lo. SAF LEAVES IS AN ENTITLEMENT OK!! zzz since there's an up strength in our platoon le i really see no reason why they dun lemme clear lo. moreover there's no more chance for me to clear liao. zzz.

oh ya. congrats to weiliang! haha.. so fast getting engaged liao. hope u and ur wife-to-be be happy always! =D was shocked to hear that my SSC buddy gettin engaged soon. haha.. but happy for u man. tk care and rmb invite us to ur wedding ah! haha...

woo! jus finished watchin soccer. Man U vs Arsenal. ahah. jus the kinda football i like to watch.. all out attacking and both teams cancelling each other out.. and i'm glad man utd won in the end with the help of Owen Hargreaves' killer free kick. haha.. i bet this season's title is theirs. but hope they dun screw up last min.

friday had an incredible mahjong marathon. haha.. with wy, gab, n rs. we played like 4 rounds lar. haha.. 1st time ever. in the end i lost 3 bucks, nt that bad for me ba. and met up with rs n gab today to go get smth for tommy's b'day. also nid to get smth for gab n yh liao. haven buy anything for them yet. my bro's bday is today but too bad he's spending it in camp...

and at last! block leave for us.. nxt whole week's my block leave all the way till wednesday and i guess thursday we will nid to go back to camp to attend some ceremony. as usual a waste of our time.

tmr is mountin day again! zzz 3 1/2 more duty weeks and i'd be gone! hopefully i can get my officer to let me off @ during the 1/2 week of duty to settle my admin stuff be4 i can go for my operation in peace. today was feelin so sick since the mornin. caught a flu and had been sneezin like crazy since then.. i guess its cos i walked home in the rain yesterday from my aunt's house.. haha.

some thoughts over my NS life, i guess i had learnt many things during this period of NS liability.. things like how to drive a boat, making the impossible possible, as well as i guess, this being the most important thing, coming in contact with ppl of all sorts of attitudes and characters. also made me learn nt to trust ppl too easily, nt sayin that ppl arnd me are nt trustworthy, just that to become more careful with what i say to ppl cause u nv noe when the person will stab u without u knowing.

woo! jus got awake. lol. feelin refreshed after being deprived from sleep for the past 3 days sia..

friday - dismount from duty, only slept 4 hrs that day, played mahjong with rs, wy, n gab b4 gab went to thailand the nxt day for his exercise.

friday nite - booked in cos of SAW life range the nxt day, had a few arguements / conflicts with some of my platoon mates, really spoilt my day, kinda stunned by hw politics n jealousy will cause so much trouble fr me. anyway i dun really wanna care so much le ba. just left another 10 more weeks n i will be gone already.
i tink jus do my part and really FOPK from that unit can liao.

saturday - SAW live range started late cos my training officer was MIA when he supposed to be supervising officer. lol.. he had some exams be4 that so overslept. o.0 made like 30-40 of us wait like idiots, but okay la. give it to him cos he had exams + he had gave 50 dollars each to the top 2 scorers of the day. lol.

saturday afternoon - went to meet tommy as he took leave for that day and went out to do some window shoppin lo. haha.. as usual walk walk arnd zhuo bo. but kinda boring n tired cos lack of sleep haha. and only 2 of us oso duno wad to do wan play LAN or pool or wad oso sian.

saturday nite / sunday morn - came home rested awhile, did laundry and rs, yh, n jy came my house to discuss about our project till 6+am and we had breakfast, but i tink i KO-ed @ arnd 530am lidat haha cos all these while i dint slp at all. hahah. had a power nap den when they completed it they waked me up and we went to my void deck coffeeshop to makan b4 i head back home to KO till now. haha

this recent week had been kinda bad week for me, with that JI leader escaping means duty life @ my unit would most probably require us to be on high alert.
and also that conflict with my platoon mates, duno hw to solve it la.. haiz. cant stop ppl from thinkin the way they are now anyway.. jus gonna Serve and Fish off .. lol =X
lastly i also heard from my bro that my neighbour @ my aunt's house had jus passed away, was kinda shocked when i heard that cause his children were my childhood friends. and more or less i knew him since i was a small kid ba. but recently due to NS and due to me not stayin @ bukit merah anymore, its been sometime since i saw him le.

i dun really noe how to express those kinda feelin now cos its the 1st time someone that i know passed on. and moreover i feel quite bad nt being able to go to his funeral due to saw range and stuff.. jus hope his family dun take it to hard on themselves, as well as my deepest condolences to them.

Haiz. Nw startin to regret planning to go for the operation for my ligament man..
recently gt an offer frm my ACSM to work under him as is assistant if i can no longer drive the RHIBs anymore.. kinda good deal, cos most likely if i were to work under him, it will be an 8-5 job, plus secured weekends!! hhaa.. so many ppl wan oso cant get this job lar.. its like the dream ns kinda job.

but nw i am kinda feelin sad la. although yea its nice to have 8-5 + secured weekends, its like suddenly tell me not to mount romeo, not to drive the rhibs anymore, i duno man. jus feel reluctant to stop mountin duty. i noe many ppl might think i'm stupid la. 'gt such a good offer why still think, if is me i take le' kinda remarks are coming frm my peers.
but try to put urselves in my shoes man. although yea. its a relaxed job, but its somehw like my passion ba.. u all might think wa liddat go sign on la! haha.. but its nt that man.. i jus feel that since i only have 6 more duties, why cant i jus finish mountin den go for my operation.

Just because i downgraded recently, den they tell me i wun be able to mount that station unless i get some clearance from the MO. haiz. i shall wait n c ba.. most probably i wun be able to mount duty any more..

lol. alot of u mus be thinkin i am so stupid this kinda thing oso can consider so long, if it was for normal ppl they would have just gone to accept my ACSM offer liao. u might think i am garang, but i'm nt those kinda person who likes office job. so if given a choice of 7D romeo or 8-5 i will still choose the 1st option... although life there sux, at least 7 days i get to spend with my buddies in camp rather then 8-5 office there do admin stuff. zzz.

anyway today gena bluffed by my CSM to go for some dinner @ the spec mess, den we go over there the organizer told us we nv book any seats for the dinner, but we still sat down to start cooking the steamboat le since our CSM said he will be coming down to join us later, when we were about to start eating that time the organizer came and chase us out of our seats zzz.. den CSM say he nt coming le. wtf. make us pai seh lo. idiot.

tis week had been kinda tiring, yet happy too, cos at last the time of the year had came again! haha.. get to see all my relatives. haha. went to my aunt house in the morning, after that went to pray @ the temple be4 heading to my mum's side relative's house haha..

jus came back nt long from all the 'bai nian' took a few fotos. might upload them nxt week ba. depends if my cousin gt send me anot. played blackjack, and darts. haha. Darts are kinda addictive lol.. quite fun actually cos my cousin he have this electronic dart board. quite fun can play up to 8 players. LOL. but of course the feelin of the electronic one and the real 1 is different. haha. but still addictive.

den played blackjack. Wahaha.. today kinda on form. gt a bit of winning streak and i won a 'Triple 7' hahha... that means i win 7 times the amt i bet. haha.. i bet 1 dollar on that game so.. (lets do our maths)

den decided to go home cos tmr still nid to book in camp. sian. still nid to tk 1st bus. haha. past few days heard a bit of bad news which will affect my NS life.. lets hope for the betta.. pls MO gimme clearance to drive the rhibs. its smth at least i have some interest on doin instead of jus doin office work.

played bball today mornin with gab, wy and one of his friends. lol. played full court with a few other guys @ telok blangah CC i tink is indonesians or malays. (they look the same) be4 we went off to yh's house to chit chat.

jy met me n wy after our bball and talked about his latest idea to makin a website, and maybe this new idea (i wun go into the details) is cost-wise less painful, as well as lower risk and i nv seen this kinda website be4. haha.

oh ya. haha. i also passed my powerboat practical/oral test yesterday!! haha.. shiok! nw i can drive any kind of boat le. (ok la nt all boats la. those kinda leisure crafts) haha. so any1 who nid a person to drive the boat can come hire me~! haha.. was kinda unlucky when havin the test cos just when we are about to start the test it started rainin heavily! ended up being drenched totally, and also was harder to control the craft cos the rain made the steering wheel very slippery.

but i still managed to do a perfect alongside as well as the man-overboard drill, the 2 of the criteria that u nid to do well to pass the test. there are also a few other things that we were tested on, what are the 11 items that nid to be onboard every pleasure craft, followed by an oral test, where we will be tested on our rules on the road, aka ROR, which will give us a few scenarios where which vessel have to be the give way vessel and so on, and also a test on lights and buoys. haha. breezed past these qns and i can get my licence at last!! haha.. gonna collect it tmr be4 meetin my campmates for lunch.

yay. another thing striked off my wishlist. lol time to get a new one!

last nite reached home at arnd 12+. haha. too shag to blog le.

anyway for the past 3 days had stayed in in camp for 2 of them due to range and IMT.
At least all of our hard work paid off. LOL. the practice @ the IMT as well as the performance @ the range. =D

I GOT MY 2nd MARKSMAN!! haha.. tis time's ATP shoot is different from the 1st one i shot. this time, it requires the whole team effort in order to get marksman. All i know was that i was super lucky to have gotten it 1stly cos when we were shooting the night range, it was still kinda of evening time, so there's still some light and by right i tink our total shdnt be so high, but i think the system abit cocked up so ended up our score was marksman score.

so proud of myself cos i had lived up to my own marksman badge i am wearing on my sleeve nw haha. =X i hit 30 out of 30 targets. The only one who gt perfect score (haolian-ing) =X okay lar. but mus thank my team, for havin nice teamwork, although our night shots were kinda lucky, my gun for nt having any IAs and my luck to be able to shoot the night shoot when there's still a little light. and also my next lane friend, who said that he will laugh at me if i miss a single shot.

lets nw hope i can get another 200 dollars for the marksman.

Today went to camp to conduct some lesson about Sea side Ops to the new SSC 15 trainees, was kinda last min cos i was only informed bout that last nite, so everything was so rushed. no lecture materials, and also duno wad to cover..

i guess everything went smoothly ba. Although i dun think i make such a good teacher. but there's really too many things to teach them and they also dun understand wad i was talkin about @ first. so decided to jus briefly teach them and talked crap with them lo. haha.

after lunch had another lesson with them, teachin them about ship identification, at least that one there's a lecture slide i found. so at least gt some teaching materials.. and also i believe this batch of trainees is way betta den the previous 1. at least more guai and more responsive, willin to speak up.

actually supposed to go for ECP run this afternoon, but cos of the lesson endin late so dint go. haha.

I am soooooo bored nw!!

Today basically spent the whole day @ home. Actually wanted to mahjong with the guys de. but ended up all 'put aeroplane' haha. cos gab nid to book in early today ba. and wy dint sound so keen in playin so i thot forget it lo.

actually wanted to go out today to get some new year clothing.. but no one to go out with me to do the shoppin.. tommy n gab book in, rs went out with his parents today morn, so was kinda tired when he reached home so i ended up jus stayin @ home watchin tv, and slacking around.

nxt week will be quite a bz week, with our 2nd ATP combat shoot coming up, hope to get my 2nd marksman tis time too. although many ppl said that normally the 2nd ATP is hard to get, but i will try haha.. wish me luck. cos wad i heard is that the whole detail must get marksman in order for u to get marksman too.

anyway, i guess 2 weeks frm now i will nid to to some last min new year clothin shopping liao. nid to get jeans, and some clothes to wear.. i tink i might need a pair of new shoes (lasted me for abit more den 1 year liao) n slippers. haha. new year, new stuff.

so many things happening at the same time, oh ya! i gt my powerboat practical test on 2nd febuary! i jus rmbered. shit. nid to study again. heard frm my friends the test is quite hard. hope i can pass it at 1 go.

yesterday went out with tommy, rs n gab to shop arnd. forgot to buy clothes yest. stupid me rite, till my mum called me and asked where i was. den it was already 9pm. hw to shop for clothes, so i tot today wanted to go buy ended up nv go again..

We went to watch this stupid show - Cloverfield. I wonder wad is the ratings for this film. but for me, i give it 0.5/5. thats how bad this movie is.

Alot of things left the 4 of us confused after watching the film
- why the alien suddenly came out of nowhere and started attacking Manhattan,
- where it came from,
- and why must the stupid director make the whole film in 1st person view??? imagine watching the whole show like counterstrike, just that the quality is so bad cos its captured from a handheld camcorder, and when the person run, he run with the camera on.
- the camera batteries nv dies!
- just too many things that u wun understand.
- one thing that i noe is that, if the US army cant defeat something, they will just nuke the whole city just to destroy the thing. lol. sounds familiar?? same kinda ending for AVP2. zzz

haha.. A whole lot of crap la the show jus ended makin a few of us having motion sickness for a moment. just when i thot AVP2 was lousy, this one's worse. haha at least AVP2 dun make me get motion sickness and there's more action.

shiok! today did quite alot of things.. although still nt feelin very well, feel like dyin lo. i tink tmr mus go polyclinic see liao.. i tink i fever + headache for arnd close to a week le ba.. still haven end yet.. keep on n off, + cough, but today so far nt alot of coughing. (heng)

gonna slp soon le... nw still feelin super headache. anyway talkin bout doin quite alot of things, today dismounted early, so went over bedok's sheng siong to get some groceries for nxt duty's hotplate. haha. spent arnd 10bucks per person. (enjoying life). den went over to ubi's comfort driving centre. stupid place so complicated de. made me n henson confused to hw to book the stupid test. the nearest date is 1st april. zzz.

den made my way to SP to tk my powerboat which was scheduled on 7pm. but i reached there like 5pm+?? stood on the stupid train all the way from eunos mrt to dover lo. lol. so tired that i fell asleep while standin k... den my knees @ 1 point suddenly loosen haha. almost fell down. super paisei. OH yA~! and the highlight of today, i passed my powerboat theory test at last!!! after 3 attempts, den i was commenting that i no money le... fail so many times, then beside me gt 1 guy, he told me he failed 11 times!! OMG LAR! 1 test cost $21 leh. so go do ur own maths ba. he took 12 times den pass so 12x21=? lol lazy count. =X

its crazy shiet man. even the office auntie that helps us to book our practical test and theory retest noe him lo. haha.

gotten a ipod classic 80gb tgt with all the charger, silicon case and screen protector, i spent arnd 270 only. haha.. thx to the harvey norman vouchers!! haha..

quite satisfied.. but this month seemed to overspend liao. its time to SAVE UP le.. hah.

yest mornin went over to wy's house to play mahjong. sad la. abit unlucky. cant seem to get the cards i want. but nvm la. overall i lost like 5-6 bucks. so no issue. den went to town with tommy, gab n rs to shop shop, play lan and eat. den we met YH n jy to chit chat sia. all the way till 2am+. ended up slping like a log @ gab's house till his dogs woke me up today mornin. still feeling very sick. throat like exploding anytime man....

haa. stupid friend of mine, went to mount duty when he's feeling ill. wtf. haha ended up spreadin to the whole of my station de ppl. 6 out of the 9 of us got his virus.. gotten sore throat + fever + cough.

anyway caught a few fishes 2 days ago. LOL.. sense of achievement sia. =X

woo~ christmas is coming!! haha.. gonna be another bz week this week, with alot of spending and shopping.. jus went to town yesterday with tommy to get the gift for our gift xchange this coming christmas, and went there today again with rs, to get a birthday pressie for yiming. haa. dint have the time previously to go buy. so yea.. kinda late. lol. but its betta to be late den nv rite?? ahah =X

jus went over to one of my cousin's condominium. its quite nice sia. those kinda executive condominium de, where u gt a lift that goes right to ur doorstep after scanning the card, and its a 2 storey, jus nice for 1 person to stay de. very neat and stylish. haha..

chatted very long with my 2 other cousins. haha. catched up quite abit and was really happy to see them =D

went to the library with tommy to get some books to read for nxt 7d. hah.
1st time in such a long while man. haha. i tink gt at least 5-7years at least ba. and i was pleased to see the library look so nice nw. everything is more organised, the way u borrow books, search the online catalog, and the facilities there are much better nw.
borrowed these few books - "How to do everything with" Microsoft Office Access 2007, SQL for Microsoft Access, Beginning ASP.net Databases using C#.
all on the fundamentals of doin databases and programming it. cos alot of things kinda returned to my poly teacher le. so nw beginning to learn frm scratch again. since 7D nothin to do, so rather spend my time relearnin the stuff and hope it will come into good use in the near future.

lol. just gotten the date to go for my ligament surgery. its on 14th May nxt year. hope all things goes according to plan ba. although there's still slightly less den 9mths to ORD, i nw already feelin kinda stress liao. wonder shd i defer my NS for few mths so i can go SIM to study, and serve back in the future, or shd i jus continue with my NS, den after that work for a while and apply for the 2009 intake de course.
cos i ORD sept nxt year, and SIM i heard only have intakes during july. sianz.

So many things to think of this coming year:
1. Decide what course to tk @ SIM
2. Get a job after ORD/Defer NS and go SIM (Pending)*ARGH*
3. Go ahead with the plan me n yh thot of
4. Faster heal my leg
5. Go on holiday with the guys

haha. suddenly have so many things to think of. abit sian. this 1 year+ @ NS nv really think of many tings. its more of learnin hw to suck things up when smthin bad happen, and learnin hw to follow ur superiors' instructions. haha.

woo. jus woke up frm my long long nap. zz lol.
went zouk with daolei, tm, weetiong and zx. haha. happy birthday ah weetiong lol.
drank abit and danced awhile be4 heading home @ arnd 3+, haha. last nite there was a fight in phuture man. lol. but luckily the bouncers came to pull the both guys away. zz so crowded liao dun understand hw they can fight there.
den saw so many ppl drunk outside, gals also lar! zzz i wonder why those ppl drink till liddat. if u noe u cant tk the alcohol den dun drink so much mah. end up we saw so many ppl KO and literally slept outside on the pavement. haha.

den we walked to my home frm zouk and played abit of mahjong be4 they took the 1st bus home.

for the past few days, had been kinda lazy to update blog. lol sry guys! =X and was chionging my slam dunk anime i borrowed from zhi jie. seriously these few days felt so shuang, being able to stay home for the whole week and relax as well as go out with friends and my family.

thx to all the ssc 10/11 coxswains for teachin me all the methods as well as giving me the chance to practice be4 goin for our rhibs course.. although i did do a small stunt during part of the course (i agrounded the rhibs), but i dint dissapoint them! and got top in course along with lai hock (we gt the same points for the exam bt my daily score win him =X)

today went to sim lim to get my psp slim. haha. goin to sell my old 1 off to samuel.
kinda happy tt i got it at last.

yesterday was our CDS 5th anniversary. went to Chevrons for the celebration. although was being forced to go there. (no choice de) but it turned out to be quite fun. hah. with the bowling competition (i took part and got 95 pts only), karaoke competition, treasure hunting, beer on the house, and lucky draw! haha.. weiliang was the top scorer for bowling that day (his score 188) haah. and his team also won the overall team prize. so he total won 200 dollars harvey norman voucher. haha

as for me, i was super lucky too! haha. i got 2nd prize in lucky draw and got $150 harvey norman voucher too! haa. i guess my IPOD shd be on the way soon. haha. btw i still tinkin of either Ipod touch 8gb or Ipod classic 80gb. haha. any1 can gimme some suggestions/advice??

had nt been able to blog for the past few days cos of so many things to do, till gt kinda lazy to post anything. hah. so i guess i'd jus summarize wad happenedthis week ba.

at last~ tmr is the test for our rhibs course. had a bet with darrell to get top in the course otherwise i will owe him 02x bak chor mee. tink i will lose ba. but nonetheless i shall jus try my best ba.

so many things happened today, most of them kinda bad, but luckily everything ended alrite. the rhibs we used for trainin went aground (got stuck @ a shallow ramp) thx to me, and the a-frame got buang. haha. but the a-frame is a separate matter and it's dented when 1 of my juniors are tryin to do alongside training so shd nt b a problem.

den went to MMI in the afternoon today after havin a half day of practice with the guys, and the specialist told me tat my condition of my knee had worsened. its called ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) it tore and the MRI scan i took 2 mths ago had cfm-ed it. he dint expect it to be that serious and the way he described it to me was kinda scary man..

haiz. most probably i will nid surgery and if i do that, i will nid up to 9 mths of physiotherapy!! according to yiming, who had the same problem as me nw and had an operation, she had difficulties in movin for 3 mths lei.

argh, nvm shall wait till the nxt appt with the doc den see hw.

bad day for me today, hope tmr will be a betta day man..

this week has been a rather bz week, haha. everyday seems to be full of events sia.

monday - had 1st half of the day off, den followed by a dialogue session with the new CNV( chief of navy) along with our Fleet Commander, CO, DYFC. lol. u can imagine. 02x 1 star generals, and many many 'crabs'. lol. asked about some opinions and if there are any qns. haha. abit redundant anyways. haha.

tuesday - nth much for the day, play sports, den sai gang abit and went home. haha

Wednesday - most bz day of the week. zz morning run + sports, den after that followed by sai gang, book out and went to henson house. supposed to study for the powerboat test budden fell aslp on his sofa. LOL. too tired.. duno why also. went for the power boat test and as i expected, FAILED!! =( but by 2 pts only. 24/30.. sad. anyway the next test is on 23rd nov. sux rite! 1 mth later lei..

den went to town with the rest of the peeps who took the test with me to chill be4 me n tangchee nid to book in. him cos he's instructor and me, check rounds. checked till arnd 2+am liddat den went back to bunk slp. tired man.

thurs - missed IPPT test today cos of the check rounds thingy. my batch all failed except for qing kun (who got silver) GRATS bro! ur hardwork paid off! and ivan. kinda jialat sia.. i guess everyone's fitness dropped alot cos of all the 7D ba..

did abit of saigang be4 heading back home. nw restin and preparin for tmr's mountin @ romeo. Rhibs course postponed to 291007~ haha. countdown!

ankle hurts. zzz. fell down @ the void deck of my house. luckily no one saw me *i tink*. anyway who cares la. stupid slippers. i was walkin so slowly liao lo. my 1st 2 steps i already almost fell. so tried to catch balance be4 walkin but my 3rd step den i "Piak!" sit in the stupid puddle le. heng i nv fall hard man. but my ankle nw like 'cek tio' ahaha.

went vivo to meet rl, darrell and ah kee after that. did some window shoppin be4 goin to eat @ carls jr. *AGAIN* this time round i tried the portobello mushroom burger. its nt bad and its nt as big as the double western bacon cheeseburger.
den watched resident evil. i already noe the ending cos i watched it in camp last week. haa. but ah kee wanted to watch so i anyting lo. i would rate it 2.5/5 ba. cos i dint watch the previous sequels to it. so maybe abit blur of wad is the story.

oh yea man! be4 i forget, today there was a fashion show @ vivo. den @ the audience there, we saw 1 guy lyin on the floor KO man.. literally KO ok... den we saw this angmoh half naked guy, tkin his bag and changing a top. i tink they had a tussle or smth den the angmoh punched this chinese guy. he was bleeding from the mouth lo. duno wad happened. but den i saw this little gal sittin from 2nd floor (i was up there too) using her cam phone to tk down the pic of that guy KO on the ground. duno wad happened sia. but no one cared lar. and no one even reported this to the police i tink. singaporeans are always liddat. see tings only bo chap. haha. only noe hw to complain. when serious things happen, they scared.

after that went to town to look @ IPODS!! haha. saw the ipod classic 80gb and 160 gb. was so thick.. and also the new IPOD TOUCH!! anyway the new ipod classic dun have a travel charger. but nw they havin a 5% discount. so still wonderin shd i buy anot. the ipod touch was cool but the price is too overbudget le. haha! tink i will at the most make do with a 80gb IPOD.

I NEED FEEDBACK! cos i heard frm gab ipod can only put songs from 1 comp. so if i use another comp to put songs inside, the previous ones will be deleted. zzz wth kinda function is that la. stupid privacy protection. anyway tmr shd be gyming with tommy. goin to kun le.

lol. tis week's been a long long week. did whiskey, 12 hour everyday sia. only got a full day rest @ last sunday.

shagiology. moreover did the dismounting detail haha. today is so called 'clean-your-arms-day' lol. disgustin sia.. every1 was cleaning their weapons, den i only did arnd 10 mins of cleaning while ppl do for the full 1 hr. zzz den my weapon was cleared by the armskote le. haha.

den went to century square (or izzit mall) and ate sakae sushi buffet with rl, henson, tm, darrell, ah kee, zx and gab joined us halfways cos he wanted to come my house get some psp games for his new PSP slim. haha. it looks nice and light sia. 1st time see-ing it upclose. but i wonder whether shd i 'trade-in' anot sia. cos wad henson n zx said was right. this psp most probably will only last me till ns finish. no point changing. haha.

woah. was back home and there's like so many changes to my room lar. lol. i tink my mum go shift my bed and my bro's bed. dun like it sia. later goin to shift it back. haha.

bloody hell. had GPMG lessons till 2+ den managed to tk the 320pm internal bus out be4 hitching a ride to bugis *lucky me*

went home to rest awhile be4 heading to pasir ris to meet up with the peeps. idiot me fell aslp while playin my comp sia. almost overslept. haha.
den we went over to the chalet and i had abit of bbq be4 startin on our mahjong game with JJ, daolei, ruilong and myself. haha. at the start had a big deficit sia. lost arnd 6 dollars. but late game i tink i quite lucky. and with abit of help from hanshen haha. won back quite abit haha. but bloody cab fare home was jus nice the amount i won. zzz. but nvm it was still fun. lol

today spent most of the day slping and slping. really like pig sia. woke up @ 12pm, eat lunch, 3+ slp again. haha. den woke up @ arnd 6pm, had dinner and nw dun feel like slping le. haha.

jus got back from toa payoh industrial park. haha. went there to have a meal with all the sea site guys. lol. we had our meal @ botak jones man. lol. its our 1st time there and it was the SSC 9th ORD treat man. thanks to leuitanant (duno hw to spell) benjamin, xi chuan, jun xian, kay yong and chuan ming. haha. enjoy ur last few weeks of duty man. really gonna miss ya guys.

today was kinda pissed of by 2 incidents. 1stly someone who did nt inform us about nt coming for the morning PT, causing many problems for us when counting strength. (but he did get his punishment shortly after that) as well as the rest of the platoon, cos when we needed a timer, den everyone was nt responsive at all. when we jus nided a volunteer. wanted to give you guys face and no one wanted to volunteer. e

played soccer today and injured it while saving a ball. lol. really duno hw to play soccer man. zzz.

these few days had been chattin with ym and a few other friends, had been chattin bout how's life getting more routine and routine. lol. i wonder hw sia if i nxt time go out to work. routine life? morning wake up go work, lunch, work, dinner, go home, watch tv, slp and wake up to work the nxt morning again? haha.

anyway weekend was rather short this week, cos nid to go back yesterday nite to do rounds with teck meng. sergeants = sai gang more. but no pay. hope tis month can get it man. nw feelin abit sick cos last nite ba. 12am and 5am had to go arnd the base to check on every station for their rounds whether gt ppl come steal anot. zzz. 1 time is 1hr le. den mornin PT. shag sia. LOL

oh ya! haha. yesterday was a happy day cos my dad bought me this!

my parents and i woke up late today lol.
woke up @ 630am. suppose to reach tanah merah by 655am, i reach there @ 7+am. haha. somemore i am in charge of waterpoint today. zz.

today was sports and games, lol whr we played bball as usual. den supposed to ahve a lesson by our PC but was canceled in the end cos dun have the teaching materials i tink. so cleared my half day off today, so left camp @ 12pm. den came home and rested..

was suppose to meet andy and the rest of them today for Kbox session. so sry guys didnt go to find u all. was kinda tired these few days. moreover today like gt abit feverish. so dint really feel like goin.

slpt like a log today sia. woke up only @ arnd 1130am. maybe too tired from yesterday's powerboat lesson. yest was a super long day. woke up @ 830am and the class suppose to start @ 930. lol. so i decided to F*** it and jus cab there cos i cfm late liao.

lesson was quite interestin, given by a Major aka 1 'crab' officer. haha. for the whole mornin to arnd 4+pm i tink. with a lunch break in btw. during the lunch break we went to the SAF yatch club arcade. LOL. they use 20cents per credit sia. play till shuang and continued with the theory lesson in the afternoon..

then durin the evenin we had our practical lesson. haha. all the 'new birds' all happened to be in the same boat -.= me, teckmeng, henson, tang chee and kayyong.
all of us abit clumsy when handling the boat. and poor kay yong had quite abit of difficulty in gettin used with the throttle. was thought the Man-overboard Drills, as well as hw to alongside by this lieutanant colonel. heard from ruilong he's one of the controllers during praxis he shouted at.

nxt duty week i am doin same station again. hope can learn hw to alongside during freetime haha. cos drivin the boat is nt hard. its the parking and controlling that is hard. zzz

yea. end of praxis. end of another 7D. haha.
the past week was kinda tiring (as usual) but its nice to see some familiar faces from the other platoon, had some fun talkin and crappin.
learnt from jun xian hw to use the RHIBS(rigid hull inflatable boat) aka the rubber speedboat, hw to alongside(park) and learnt from kairong hw to use the throttle to control the boat. haha. quite fun. and thx guys haha.. nxt duty week den learn smmore if gt chance lol.

went to town to meet rs and my dear cousin, haha. went to get tix for the show 'Rouge Assassin' i would giv it a 3 out of 5 stars, kinda short movie, and tried to have a complicated plot i would say.
entertaining, and yea. abit of violence haha. my cousin kept coverin her face o.0 and she's the one who wanna watch the show. lol.

after tat went to taka's STADIUM (the sports shop) and got some stuff tgt with rs. den went home. haha.
btw i tink my dad goin to get me a canon ixus digital cam! haha. gonna be happier. LOL. cos he say gt duno wad offer la LOL. nvm nxt week very free to check it out. haha.

Wooo.. jus finish runnin arnd my neighbourhood.. haa. had been doin so yest and today. its been so long since i ran man.. really feels good to run by my own, @ my own pace, listenin to my mp3 without anyone's disturbance and so on. =D
although my leg still hurts when i run, i duno lei. somehw i feel i jus nid to run otherwise i will 'dui bu qi zi ji' i dun wanna see all my SSC/SSLC trainin to go down to waste. and most imptly i nid to get back my fitness level after arnd 2 mths+ of no running.

today supposed to have half day off from mornin to 12+ den book in for some dengue talk by our Deputy Fleet Commander. but cos some of us were needed to conduct IPPT for some reservist NSMen so nid to be there by 745am. lol. bo pian but nvm la at least nxt time we noe hw to conduct IPPT le, and also the off can be pushed to other days to clear. hopefully it doesnt get cancelled off by our CSM.

haha. today really alot of the reservist ppl chu stunt. lol.. 2.4 run, they WALK lar... 1 big group... den i was lap recorder. wth man. den they anyhw wear number tag, some tuck their shirt out... den hw am i gonna record. zzz. so many ppl walk, till last few rounds then they start jogging. JOGGING OK.. nt even run lar! end up many ppl ran more den 18 mins. haha.. i hope nxt time i wun be liddat. (TIME FOR ME TO TRAIN~)

den after that went for the dengue talk, followed by searchin our area to find if there's any mozzie breeding grounds LOL. they call mosquitoes mozzies. duno why oso =X i find it funny. haha. chop chop and we went back to bunk and waited for book out..

lol. jus realised other den my swollen knuckle, my head oso swell sia. haha. i tink cos yest bumped onto the bedframe. stupid me.

anyway today was kind of a short day for us. haha. sports n games in the morning, followed by a medic lesson on bandaging wounds, den had 'body maintenence' till 1300H and had a briefing bout some stuff thats gonna be in place next week.

haa. anyway today released quite early.. den we hitched a ride from camp all the way to changi airport. haha. a minibus uncle fetch us there.. den me, qingkun and zhi xiong went to Popeyes to eat!! haha.. 1st time sia.. nv heard of this stall be4.. its their recommendation. haha. really nice. the food. and the price is reasonable, its like more of a higher class KFC. but the quality of the food is 10 times betta..

chilled there and chit chatted till 4+ 5pm den went home haha.. anyway SSC shd be nw on the LST on the way for their live firing.. haha.. tk care and have a safe trip! haha. too bad we dint get to go this time round.

jus got home nt long ago. haha. after a super long impromtu lesson/speech from our CSM. lol speaked for like 1hr+ man. so long winded. haha. but he seems to be in a good mood.

anyway today was a rather slack day (as usual) doin PT in the mornin, followed by continuing of the removal of the modular tents, but i 'smoked out' when removing the tents. cos too many ppl go there liao. so i jus went back to bunk area to use comp and slack.

i tink we had more or less finished all the different kinda trainin we are supposed to get liao cos accordin to samuel they keep have nth for us to do man. thats y there's this impromptu lesson on traffic control and car checking.. zzz lame sia.
after tht, we taopoked jason (happy ORD) haha.. this week will be the last week for him and youren. den samuel gave me, alvin and daniel a lift. haha. all of us stay near each other. heng man. =X

today gt 'speared' to do a few 'sai gang':
1. water point for PT in the morning
2. remove modular tent. (heavy rain. den end up got myself fully drenched and the tent removed halfway only.)
3. tmr's water point.

but today is fairly relaxed haha.. so dun mind doin the sai gang la. mornin went there actually for swimming, but cos the pool closin. so ended up playin bball. hah.

after that there's a stupid traffic control lesson by our ex-CSM, haha. but it was quite short la. lol jus require us to move our arms and so on.. lol. tmr still nid to bring watch to camp wth.
after that went to dismantle the stupid tentage. but suddenly cat 1 den keep raining. so abort mission, while doin that halfway the vehicle got stuck in the mud, so nided to push it out... got myself drenched. zzz
lastly was quite an interesting lesson, hand-cuff techniques! haha... that was fun. cos i was the detainee, means the one who nids to be captured. den they ask me out to be demonstrator. haha... gena spear again lo.. cos they wan see me gena pin down zzz. den the MP(military police) he tried on me, pin me down and say as long as he on top of me, he's 'god' le. i wun be able to retaliate. den he ask me to try. hahaha so i jus pushed myself up and he fell. LOL. after tryin 2 times den they decided that they nid to use 2 ppl den can pin me haha.. 1 person hold leg 1 person pin me down. lol.

came home after that. haha. got stuck outside my house for like 5 mins cos my stupid bro go put the ledge on the door, den i cant open it zzz. call and call den he turn out to be bathin.. somemore tk his own sweet time. haha.

ooooh. lol. another year has passed liao. sian old by 1 more year le.. ahaha.. outstanding man.

jus woke up from concussion from last nite's mahjong session with gab, yh, wy and yh @ my house. tommy and rs came along as well. but sian diao they only played the computer and watched the soccer matches only. lol.. we played 10cents/20cents for whole nite sia... lol.. 8hrs of pure hardcore mahjong and watching soccer matches. haha! guess wad. we played 2 rounds only, and i lost $2.60 only. zzz i 2nd round dint win or lose anything. wasted arnd 4hrs lol..

anyway yesterday was fun. haha.. met up with wy, tommy, rs and gab at hbrfront arnd 1130am, den ate dimsum @ tat dragongate restaurant *almost puked*, den went to town to play LAN..
hahaa. saw some interesting kids there, playing CS. lol den this kid, he keeps shouting "HUAAAT ahHH!!!" whenever he kills some1. den me n wy also super bo liao started shouting along when i was playin dota with . hahaha.. but i shouted softly to them only. LOL!

so we went to town to do some window shoppin be4 headin to wy's house, and rs got himself a 'shoot bird' t-shirt. $25 and the pattern is quite nice. went to wy's place and chill liao, den went over to my side to mahjong!!! lol.. the mahjong session was fun man. its been so long since we played mahjong tgt. lol gab ended up to be the biggest winner.. winning $14 dollars++ haha.. but sad la he tt day came my house jus got a 'Summon' for his car. $50. overall my b'day was really enjoyable this year man. thx to my bros here haha.. really appreciated it. lol

suffering from fatigue man. sneezin like hell nw as i jus woke up from a 1-hr+ power nap.

1 more week of this hell and i am gonna collapse man.

haha. jus came back frm my 7D duty *what's new* today. super stupid. cos of some change of command for the chief of navy. so many 'crabs' and 'stars' come into our base sia. i saw 1 of the 2star general, he's being driven arnd by a 1st sergeant. today dismounted late cos of this stupid Change of a new Chief of Navy.

spent 5 mins tryin to clean my dear little rifle, while i see the rest of them clean like 1-2 hrs man... haha. cos nid to be cleared by the armoury ppl. den all i did is jus pull through the barrel 2 times only, and i pass liao. poor daolei spent at least 1 hr tryin to clean his barrel and ended up still haven book out when the rest of us already go home le.. *lucky me.* haha. dint even really clean and pass liao.

this week was rather tiring mentally for me sia.. especially the last 2 days, where i slept like 7hrs total in 2 days..

i was doin the 4pm-10pm shift + 4am-10am shift on wednesday. den from 10pm, i was accompanying my friend @ duty. chat abit with them. chat till arnd 12pm where i got so tired due to the lack of sleep that started from monday. so went down to the bunk and tried to sleep. but duno cos of wad sia. i started to feel feverish + had a terrible nose block. sneeze till my ears also stuck. haha. ended up i fell aslp at arnd 130am.

4am woke up to tk over my friend, zhixiong. haha. and i practically stoned for 2 hours man.. REALLY IS STONE THERE LO.. haha. i tried to slp but cant also. den do till 10am, luckily gt 98.7fm acc me. lol. and best part is i nid to go do land site duties @ 10am for 3 hours. waited for the vehicle to come den i did 3 hours of duty there.

sometimes really hate ppl to think that sea site is so slack, and keeps thinkin we are so free and so on, does it mean we are obliged to go over to help u guys? i really hate the attitude when ppl nid your help, and when u ask hw come, they tk it as if you do not want to do it, and jus cant be bothered to explain cos u still nid to go help in the end of the day.

shan't complain so much anyway, jus went to help out today mornin also, did another 4 hrs of duty, 6am-8am, 10am-12pm. standin @ the stupid gate, tryin to direct traffic and also tried to do the open/close gate job. haha. quite fun i would say, but its equally tiring and pain for my leg sia.

forgot i gt a excuse lowerlimb status, actually cannot do too much of standin de. sian. but i scared ppl say i chao keng. the more sad thing is when i wanted to check what time is my duty @ the notice board, i saw my name, 'QIE JM, that lzy pig'. den really is sian lo. i duno who wrote that la. but my another 2 friends, they only did 2 hours of duty, and i did 4. haha. maybe they want me to try out hw 'siong' is land site ba.

some how my playfulness had caused me to lose many things in life.
haix. maybe i'm the kinda ppl who nids to learn things the hard way? guess it's jus time for me to change ba. in terms of my maturity and responsibility when handling situations and problems.

jus woke up.

lol today was kinda boring day cos i was doin some mini-parade thingy cos some VIP is coming to our base. so 2 of my men is door opener, den the rest do salute with the rifle. haha. i guess my job is the most slack de ba.. lol jus stand behind 1 officer. haha. he told me he also is 1st time doin de but dun kan jiong. i tink he himself oso abit kan jiong oso. basically its jus quite wierd ba so few of us jus stand there to salute a few of the caucasians. but at least i dun nid to wear that dumb white color helmet and number 3 with gutters on and combat boots. lol. somemore mus salute with arms sia my friends. lol. all i nid to do is jus use hand salute can le. and its the 1st time i wear my beret. so nt so bad ba. although its abit boring.

basically these few days had been spent @ home, slackin arnd and chillin out with friends @ nite. haha. went to meet angeline, layting and wy to celebrate angeline's b'day. haha.. bo pian i cant make nxt week. so happy b'day in advance jie haha..

and i tink this week's all about spendin money and more money. zzz nw super broke le. nxt mnth mus budget liao. have been overspending. cos bo pian met up with kay yong, tc, tm, rl, junxian, n henson to go sign up for powerboat licence lesson. haha.. super ex. although its a good deal liao. $192.60 for the one full day lesson inclusive of practical and theory lessons, and the textbook.

wooot!! DISMOUNT LO... at last man... rotted @ OP1 & 2 for the past 7 days.. no proper sanitation, gt 1 portable toilet(for shitting & peeing only) and 1 bicycle only. tis week was kinda stunt week for our platoon i tink. haha. many stupid little things happened...

haha jus nw went to Tan tock seng hospital for my MRI scan. haha.. there so good de lo. service up there man.. den the stupid scanning thing so long and noisy de. zzz. gt a few times dozed off while lyin there. haha. total bill added up to 700+++ dollars. but all i nid to do is show my 11B~ haha. and no nid pay =X

last nite was so exciting @ nite cos when my friend was doin searchlight scan @ his OP, he spotted a floating object, then he commsed and say it seems to be a size of a human BODY!! haha.. omg all of us high lo. hahaha ultimate stunt. end up when the command post use cam to check it out, they say is a log. duno hw true man... den few days be4, gt this stupid NDU boat, chiong into our base liddat.. den no one inform us, bloody hell.. den left all of us stunned.. wtf rite. end up tio gan for no good reason.

den here came dismount. super pai sei when charlie told me to taopok our PC Issac. bloody hell i hate this man... no one cooperative de. so unsporting. wtf. i initiated the tao pok but no one wana help me end up only kubye only. den we released him. anyway grats ah SIR! haha ORD LO!

after that we met up with the all the sedet 3 ppl, and the nw platoon 1 sedet ppl. haha saw all the lao jiaos, from SSC 6 to 11. all here to celebrate Ziming's last few days of being a NSF. went to weiting's place to makan. great food man.. for 15 dollars we ate a whole lot of food. super worth the money.

den we gave him his final pressie. a big taopok. shall upload the pics once i got them. lol. they cracked an egg on his head and pour flour somemore. poor thing LOL

next few weeks gonna be very tough for the ppl in platoon 1.. come. lets bite the bullet, suck it up and tough thru it guys! lets hope we can come up with a good solution, and see wad we can do to improve BSC. although i duno hw to solve this recurring strength issue.

lol! today is cohesion day again!! haa.. smoke out~ maybe a chance to let us relax be4 the ultimate down strength period next mth.. when ppl goes back to sslc and SSC 8 ORD...

today went to harbourfront to have some dimsum buffet @ the dragon gate restaurant. 1 person only nid to pay $15.50. eat till u die. haha. today my table really eat like pigs lo.. food come only finished in less den a min.. hha. den the stupid waiter doubt our stomachs lo. when we ordered all the dimsum, we ordered in 5s. haha.. so he scared we cannot finish, he came back and asked us if we were sure that we can finish anot. so idiot. den we replied "can la! haha. whats the issue 5 nia mah" but thats the 3rd piece of order slip le (that restaurant tk orders by order slip de. so wad we did is write qty we wan and they will gif us) lol..

at the end of it our future PC, stephen got taopoked by us and our dear deroose and was gave him an ORD "kiss of death" lol...

after that went to selegie there to play lan with them.. played for 2 hrs before we went separate ways, some gone home and some of us went to PS to stock up for the upcoming week..

sad to say i dint get selected for the rhibs course.. but nonetheless i tink i shall jus suck it up ba. hope that there will be a 2nd chance for me. COS I WANNA BE A COXSWAIN!!!

today was jus another slack day in camp, slp whole day.. becomin pig soon..

anyway after today's drills, went home and met wy and tommy @ town to get rs's pressie.. sad to say i wun be able to make it this sunday for his birthday.. but nvm. jus hopes he enjoys himself as well as the gang gets to enjoy themselves.

den after tat we went to taka for dinner.. and there's tis lady beside me when we thinkin of wad to order @ Ajisen ramen. den she pointed to the waitress and said,

jus another ordinary weekend.. chillin with the same old grp of ppl. haha.
went to town to do some window shoppin or shd i say browsing around as well as thinkin of wad to get for some upcoming occassion... =D anyway i noe wad to buy liao. lol.

for the past few weeks, life had been rather routine.. sometimes really cant tk it le.. and make me reflect alot on my life.
every week, book in mount duty 7D, stay inside rot and rot, totally no life @ all, minimal or sometimes absolutely no contact with the outside world, after that, have a half-F***ed weekend(depends on what time they release us), even if they do release us early, by the time i reach home i will be so tired le. haha. shan't complain anymore le ba. haha but wad i feel is that i hate routine life man. den when book out, its jus hanging around in orchard, vivo city, or stay @ home play dota.. kinda sick of this life.

duno why when i go out today, i feel kinda wierd. its like i'm either lacking something in life? or am i jus too darn bored. when i shop arnd with tommy, rs, wy today @ town.. i duno hw come i feel so restless, its like very 'xin bu zai yan'.

anyway i tink i nid to find a new hobby to occupy myself. reading books? collecting stamps?! i tink i am smhw sick of playin games already. maybe i had played too much in the past, nw maybe sick of them liao. i only play for killin time nw, when i gt nthin much to do.
and nw i found out somethin quite fun to do, which is editing pictures and make some nice nice effects on it to make it turn out nicer..

lol. the weekend's air is always different from what i get in camp man..

today went out with gab n wy to the army market to get some stuff that gab nid's for his upcoming events @ commando camp. btw grats and kudos to him that he got his airborne badge. cmon endure abit more of trainin and wish u luck for gettin ur red beret.

saw many recruits there man.. somehw rmbered the day's when i was a recruit too.. and also missed the days @ tekong with my platoon mates.

after that went to marina to window shop as well as went to the arcade and bowling alley for 2 games.. lol.. seriously, dun go to the superbowl @ marina. nt bringin the name down la.. but seriously the service there was kinda substandard, nt enuff lanes and balls, and most importantly the balls there are very lousy. either too big holes or too small, and all are so heavy. still prefer Kim Seng bowl.. but i heard from RS that the place is gonna close down soon cos some1 bought over the whole building... sad.

sometimes weekends can be quite boring without friends arnd.. and somehow or rather i feel quite lonely ba. maybe really too lack of freedom?
everyweek its becoming soooooo routine. book in book out book in book out, den go in camp duty 7D, so on and so forth.

jus nw surprisingly, layting came chat with me lol. soo long nv contact each other le. and was quite shocked when she told me she was hospitalised. when i ask her why she told me she committed suicide?!? bloody hell. den she told me she was jokin *about the commit suicide thing* zzz made me worry for nothin BAKA!

but her condition is kinda serious by the way she described to me.. do take care gal. i noe work is stress as well as studies in ACCA. but sometimes dun overstress urself and neglect on ur own health k?? no matter what, ur health comes 1st.. anything can call me anytime de. my hp is 24/7 online de. and u do noe that rite? =D

yiming oso.. say fever liao. haa still can laugh. sad that i cant make it on next sunday. haix. but bo pian la.. life goes on ya?? haha. and do tk care of urself la! go slp earlier, drink more water..

oh ya.. forgot to update about yesterday, went to watch harry potter with rs and gab. lol. it was kinda nice, maybe most ppl might find it boring ba. cos there's less action but i feel it might be more of content ba. a lot of tings that are left unanswered as usual..

woah. after a tough week. at last its a weekend man..

lol. US aircraft carrier jus came to my base tis week... lol. super cool man. with all the planes right in front of my eyes, it makes our singapore navy looks small compared to them. but cant be compared though.. singapore navy's total population would nt be able to support an aircraft carrier ba.. and moreover, the aircraft carrier would need at least a few thousand ppl on board to operate it man.. OMG crazy rite..

but it was cool, although i dint get to go onboard it lets hope in the future when it comes again i will get a chance to go onboard.

for the past week had been kinda busy cos of the arrival of the carrier, so somehw it passed quite fast i believe, cos at least kept occupied by smth..

was transfered over from romeo to whiskey cos of the shortage of manpower @ landsite, but it was somehow quite good also la. got a chance to 'up level' while doing duty there for the past 2-3 days. hahaha.. nids to have alot of attention spent cos i was doin duty during the morning peak hour.. alot of multi taskin to do, especially when u have a telephone ringing, an officer talking to u, and a pair of walkie talkies. haha.

anyway i'm glad at last my 7D duty week is over... and good news for me also, my knee seems to be slightly betta compared to the 2nd day of injury, at least nw i can walk properly and everything seems fine except for squatting.

haha.. nw back to bunk area.. @ this timing lo.. jus came back from Romeo station.

learnt alot of things, had alot of fun, and chu alot of stunt there.. lol

and also tried to drive the RHIBs, aka the rubber speed boat. haha.. my 1st Attempt was a failure lo.. ended up whole body wet. lol. but also nt totally my fault ba.. cos of the lousy sea state. keep having huge waves and wind. but after a few more tries i got used to it le... =D haha

anyways, i heard there will be a selection of ppl to go for the RHIBs course next mth soon. whether i will be a coxswain (boat driver) or not will depend on this.. lol.
out of 7 or 8 ppl, only 4 will be chosen haha..so while stocks last man..

for the past week i was like having injuries here and there man. glad everything's alrite nw. lol. broken toenail, sunburn, sprained knee and so oon.. lol.

luckily nw my sprained knee is slowly recovering already =D

lets hope my leg can recover fully man..

SPRAINED my right knee again.. wth.

today went to sentosa with our platoon for cohesion day. whole of platoon 1, along with our 2lt issac, tommy, and stephen.
haiz. and whats the best part... i sprained my knee right @ the start when we were playin frisbee, i accidentally collided with JJ and then tripped over his leg and there's where i sprained my knee. lol. nt his fault though, stupid knee keeps giving me problems man.. lets hope it can heal soon man..

anyways, had alot of fun today. with all the taopoks all around, volleyball/frisbee sessions, as well as mixing arnd with the newer guys in our platoon. as well as saw many bikini babes *lol i am nt teeko* but duno why today gt alot of Ang mohs and japanese ladies @ the beach... and also just nice NUS ppl oso having their union camp event there or smth.. so crowded. haha.

tmr gonna book in for the start of another 7D... hah. doin Romeo.
lets hope it will be fruitful. doin that station for only the 2nd time so far..

sometimes this is why in the whole of my SAF life up to now i dun really wanna go to the MO to report sick.

today was really a super slack day... sports & games in the mornin where i played tennis with zhixiong, jeremy lim & Dinesh aka 'Mr Bean' lol.. even my CO say he look like Mr bean. zzzz picked balls more then we play. haha.. but it was kinda fun la. made me think that federer and nadal is god... oh yea today morn heard Federer won his 5th wimbledon champion. haha..

after that walked back to 215, slack awhile in bunk, had lunch and went to the sports complex where we had tis lesson 'heli ops'... sian lo. its like teachin us hw to marshaller when there's a helicoptor landing in our base. *what's the probability of that happening* i am in a naval base lo. nt a air base. haha... but wth la bo pian. btw i hate ppl who use rank to compare himself with his subordinates. dun tink i wanna say too much later scarly he read le CHARGE me den i noe LOL.

den went to medical centre for my medical review. bloody hell slept there for 1hr+ den became my turn. lol. jus reached home from Plaza Sing jus nw. met up with the usual few.. tommy, rs, gab, wy. rs went to get some pressie he thot of buying for his friend's b'day celebration. so we went along with him and scouted for something to buy, lol ended up buying a handbag from ripcurl. look kinda nice and simple. =D

after that went to meet up with ahboy @ selegie for a session of LAN, and rs left after 2 games to go to his friend's b'day party.. haha, so we played awhile more and headed to PS where gab went home 1st cos he nid book in! LOL *sad for him* so ended up goin to MOS burger for my dinner with tommy n ahboy, and did some window shopping.

den tommy suddenly decided to go watch transformers! lol actually dint want to de.. but bo pian cos i was thinkin if i miss this show i tink will regret. haha.

and true enuff. lucky we went to watch the show.. really action packed, right from the start to the end. Optimus Prime, Bumble Bee, Megatron.. all the names we used to hear when i was jus a small kid lol.. kinda bring back some nice nice memories of *Transformers, Robots in Disguise!* haha..

haha. 1st time blogging after sooooooo longgggggg...

abit lost touch le.
anyways, jus reached home from chilling @ yihang's condo.. had a small 'reunion' with the guys, gab, wy, yh, and rs.. and coincidentally today is ruisong's "1 year anniversary" as an NSF... HAHA JIAYOU! 10 more months and u are 1 free bird.
it also brought back some memories when gab brought down some durians for us to eat. cos on the same fateful day last year, we had a durian session too @ yh's condo. but that was be4 we served our nation. memories......

went to watch Die Hard 4.0 with gab and wenyang. haha. was not bad, although kinda exaggerating, imagine driving a 16 wheeler and being chased/fired at by a fighter plane, and still manage to survive, or taking down a helicopter using a car? lol.. super kua zhang, but the show did managed to keep me entertained.. some laughter, and plenty of action. however, i still dint manage to watch transformers... all of them watch le except me n tommy.. i guess i will have to dl it or smth le... THANKS TO CDS's 7D bloody hell...

and grats to gab on getting his 'chicken wings' after finishing his 4 jumps off the chinook and C130. AIRBORNE SOILDER liao... cmon, tahan another 6 more mths and get ur well deserved red beret.. dun think too much about OOC-ing. cos the more u wan it, the more u wun get it. trust me.

with all of the guys bz-ing with the NDP, yh being some garang soldier that nid SBO, helmet, camou- on, tommy being Guard-of-Honour, Rs being the legendary 'VIP Toilet guard' haha... lets hope we can get to meet up more often after NDP ba. despite my 7D schedule..

and oh ya.. had my medical check on my knee @ MMI on thurs. from wad the doctor says it seems like quite serious... hope when i go MRI check it wouldnt be a big problem ba..
